Hi - curently purchsed

Hi - curently purchsed fastrawviewer - great software .
I also downloaded RawDigger Trial version and payed around . I understand that RawDigger is intended to work only with RAW files but :
i was trying do some printer color profiling using Tif file but RawDigger gave me error ( unsupported file format or not a RAW file ) . Did i overlooked something or is it intended to be this way . If so , is there any hope that in the future RawDigger will be able do profiling with Tif files ?

Dear Sir:

Dear Sir:

RawDigger is not color profiling software, it does not generates color profiles. RawDigger Profile (or Research) edition could be used to prepare data for using in color profile creation software (e.g. BasicColor, dcamprof, Argyll, or anything else that can use CGATS files as input). The goal is to get unaltered RAW data values, because most color profiling tools is unable to read raw files directly (also, RawDigger Profile Edition provides flat field correction).

AFAIK, printer profiling is completely different:

  - image file with known RGB values is sent to printer

   - than result is evaluated using spectrofotometer.

For printer profiling you do not need to read TIFF files because these files are generated using known R-G-B values, so nothing to evaluate.

BasICColor Input still did not fix the error in CGATS input reported 12+ month ago... so it absolutely can't be recommended for that purpose ( https://postimg.cc/gallery/1btsuceg6/ - that was year ago )
