Hi --
In one of your histogram examples you show that Nikon histograms have 1-pixel gaps because of preconditioning for white balance. Is there any way to undo that preconditioning so that the actual raw data before preconditioning could be utilized?
Thanks for any guidance on this.

Raw data is already changed

Raw data is already changed before it is recorded. To undo preconditioning, one needs to determine preconditioning coefficients for each camera, individually. Undoing preconditioning rescales the channel data, but I'm afraid the result still wouldn't be the original raw data as it was before preconditioning was applied.
Thanks!
