I wrote a simple program to convert input RAW data into RGB and display it. The RAW data comes from a DNG file, so I know the white balance parameters and black level values. My basic processing pipeline is as follows:

First subtract the black level from the RAW data, then apply demosaicing, followed by white balance adjustment, and finally perform gamma correction.

Is the displayed maximum value of R/G1/G2/B with the black level subtracted or not?

As the image shown, the max pixel value is 15202, is the black level included ?

Is there a way to easily compare two files? I know that I can easily move between two files next to each other in a directory using Cmd Arrows (in MacOS). But I would like to toggle between two files not next each other or in different directories. Is that possible?

Can't open .nef from Nikon Z8

I am slowly migrating from Windows 10 to Windwos 11 and so I installed a new additional physical drive for it in my pc ( and dual boot till I move completely ) ... this is of course a h/w change - strangely only rawdigger detects this ( and drops activation ) but fastrawviewer does not ( stays activated ) ... it will be nice to have a consistent operation, not that it is a big issue of course
